  • 5 PM: Carnival Midway Opens
  • 4:30 PM - 6 PM: Registration for 5K Road Race
  • 5 PM: Lawn Tractor Pull Registration
  • 5 PM: Lawn Tractor Pulls
  • 6 PM: Balloon Lift Off (weather permitting)
  • 6:30 PM: The Balloon Fest 5K Road Race Begins
  • 8 PM: Dusk Balloon Night Glow (weather permitting)
  • 8 - 11 PM: ENTERTAINMENT: Mama Kicks - Voted #1 Band by New Hampshire Magazine!
  • 11 PM: Closing Time
Saturday, July 12, 2008
  • 6 AM: Balloon Lift Off (weather permitting)
  • 6 AM: Rise & Shine Pancake Breakfast at Grimes Field, $5 Admission (serving till 9 AM)
  • Noon: Carnival Midway Opens
  • Noon - 12:30 PM: ENTERTAINMENT: Double Vision - Entertainment for all ages
  • 1 PM - 1:30 PM: ENTERTAINMENT: Double Vision - second show
  • 1 PM: Four Wheeler Mud Bogs ($5 admission)
  • 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM: Free Face Painting sponsored by Ocean National Bank
  • 2:30 - 3:30 PM: Vallari's Self Defense Demonstration
  • 4:00 - 4:30 PM: ENTERTAINMENT - Monadnock Mavericks Line Dancers
  • 6 PM: Balloon Lift Off (weather permitting)
  • 7 PM - 10 PM: ENTERTAINMENT - Angela West & Showdown
  • 10 PM: Grand Finale Fireworks - Best in the Area (weather permitting)
  • 11 PM: Closing Time
Sunday, July 13, 2008
  • 6 AM: Balloon Lift Off (weather permitting)
  • 6 AM: Rise & Shine Pancake Breakfast at Grimes Field, $5 Admission (serving till 9 AM)
  • Noon: Hometown Parade, "Celebrate Friends and Family"
  • Noon: Midway Opens
  • 2 PM: NEW THIS YEAR - The FIREMAN'S MUSTER IS BACK
  • 4 PM - 7 PM: ENTERTAINMENT - Plus Johnny - Invited back!
  • 6 PM: The Last Balloon Lift Off (weather permitting)
  • 8 PM: Closing Time

Parking donation is $5.00.
General admission is free but a nominal extra fee is charged for certain events.
Absolutely no pets of any kind allowed on the fairgrounds.
Balloon liftoffs and nightglow events subject to weather conditions.
In the event of rain out Saturday, Fireworks will be rescheduled for Sunday with Festival remaining open until 10:00 PM.
Hillsborough's Grimes Field is located
midway between Concord and Keene, NH
on Routes NH 9/US 202.
